Juan A. Cuyar-Cobb is a founding member of Fernández Cuyar Rovira & Plá LLC. Mr. Cuyar’s practice is concentrated in bankruptcy matters and commercial and civil litigation before the federal and local courts, at both trial and appellate levels. Mr. Cuyar has represented diverse public and private entities, including banking and other financial institutions, private funds, and commercial landlords and industrial organizations, as well as individuals, in a variety of roles, before the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and other districts, as well as the Puerto Rico courts.

- U.S. investor group in its acquisition of a mixed-use residential, retail, office and parking real estate project of urban revitalization in San Juan, Puerto Rico, through two simultaneous 363 transactions approved by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Puerto Rico.
- Court-appointed estate fiduciary in the sale of approximately 3.0 acres of land and existing building of approximately 536,000 gross square feet on 13 floors, located in Carolina, Puerto Rico, as part of reorganization of religious organization, pursuant to a chapter 11 plan confirmed by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Puerto Rico.
